GetNotch.us ("Notch") is run by J&J Technical Services in Texas. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.
What you paste
The text you paste, and the text we read from photos, PDFs, or Word files you upload, is sent to our S.I. provider to write your memo. We don't keep the uploaded files themselves. The memo is saved on our server so the memo link keeps working. The document text is kept for 30 days so the letter writer and follow-up questions can use it, and then it is deleted automatically. We do not sell your text or use it for advertising. Please remove Social Security numbers, account numbers, and other details you don't need before pasting.
Medical bills & insurance denials tool
For the medical tool at /medical, we handle health information more strictly. Uploaded bills, EOBs, and denial letters are read in memory, sent to our S.I. provider only to write your review, and discarded as soon as the review is done. We do not save the files, their text, or the review itself; the results are shown to you once so you can print or copy them. We keep only a daily usage count per connection (to enforce the free limit), any payment records from before October 28, 2026, and, if you joined the waitlist, your email address.
Memo links
Each memo has a long, random link. Anyone who has the link can open it, so share it only with people you trust. Letters and follow-up answers you create are saved with the memo. Memo pages are marked so search engines do not list them.
Payments
Notch is free and doesn't take payments. If you bought memos before October 28, 2026, we keep the email and payment status the payment processor shared with us for that purchase. We never saw or stored your full card number. The optional "support us" link goes to an X profile, where X's own privacy policy applies.
Reminder emails
If you ask for a date reminder, we save your email address and the dates from that memo, send one email per date from notchus@jandjtechserv.com, and use your address for nothing else.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in to your account on your device. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep things
We keep memos and account records while the service is running. To have your memos or account deleted, contact us and we will remove them.
